Who Are We
City Community Church is a community of believers with a mission to reach the lost, make disciples, equip the saints, and send workers to plant churches among the unreached. Our desire is to share the love of Jesus Christ and help people grow in their faith through worship, teaching, and fellowship. We are committed to being a Christ-centered community that lives out the Gospel and serves others—both in the city and beyond.
Our History
Building a Missional Community: The Founding and Growth of City Community Church
City Community Church was started by Pastor Nabaraj and a local team in 2020 as a small Bible study in a hall. What began as a gathering soon grew into a local church in 2023, with a vision to be a missional church focused on making disciples, planting new churches, and sending workers to reach unreached people groups in Nepal.
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and strict social distancing measures, the church was able to begin fellowship in a small room in 2020. However, regular in-person gatherings did not start until the end of 2021. From 2022 onward, the church began meeting in the hall of a café, where the community continues to worship and grow together in faith.
Today, City Community Church remains dedicated to reaching the unreached people groups of Nepal, making disciples, planting more churches, and raising up workers who can carry the Gospel to the ends of the nation.
